NepaliHymns is a free platform built for the Nepali church. We take your privacy seriously and keep things simple — we collect only what we need and never misuse it.
What We Collect
When you create an account we collect your name and email address, along with any songs, lists, and favorites you create within the app. If you consent to analytics, Google Analytics collects anonymised usage data such as pages visited and time spent — no personally identifiable information is sent.
How We Use It
We use your information solely to provide and improve NepaliHymns — to authenticate you, save your favorites and lists, and personalize your experience. We do not sell your data to anyone.
Cookies
We use strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in — these cannot be declined. We also use Google Analytics cookies to understand how NepaliHymns is used and improve it. Analytics cookies are optional: you will be asked for your consent when you first visit, and you can decline at any time. We do not use advertising or ad-targeting cookies.
Payments & Support
NepaliHymns does not collect, process, or store any payment or card information. Payments are handled entirely by third-party platforms — Stripe and Ko-fi — on their own secure, PCI-compliant servers. When you choose to support us, you are redirected to their hosted pages. We never see your card number, CVV, billing address, or any other payment detail. We only receive a notification that a payment was made.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services: Supabase for authentication and data storage, Google Analytics for usage insights (only if you consent), Vercel for hosting and privacy-friendly page view analytics, YouTube for embedded song videos, Stripe for card payment processing, and Ko-fi for one-time support payments. Each operates independently under its own privacy policy: Supabase (supabase.com/privacy), Google (policies.google.com/privacy), Vercel (vercel.com/legal/privacy-policy), Stripe (stripe.com/privacy), and Ko-fi (ko-fi.com/privacy).
Your Rights
You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from your profile settings. For any privacy questions, reach us at hello@nepalihymns.com.
Changes
We may update this policy occasionally. If changes are significant, we will notify you via email. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
